Is this Ergonomic Chair still good after 7 months of usage?

Ergonomic chairs really make long hours in front of the computer feel a lot more normal. They’re built to give you comfort and proper support, whether you’re gaming, creating content, or just working at your desk. With features like adjustable armrests and curves that follow your posture, the right chair can make a big difference in both comfort and productivity.

Today I will give you a follow-up review of the SIHOO M57 PRO Ergonomic Chair and how is it after a few months of usage without the intention of cleaning it.

User Experience

In this testing, I tried a certain scenario that I wouldn’t clean for a very long time. No maintenance, just purely using it for more than seven months just to see what will happen.

As you can see in the photos, dirt and grime are very visible; mostly, these are from the food I eat, like soups and fried foods, as well as drinks, from juices to sodas. Also, dust has completely enveloped the plastic parts of the chair.

I didn’t notice any major wear and tear on the plastic and mesh materials. Sure, scratches will eventually show up with long-term use, which is something you really can’t avoid. But overall, I think it’s great that SIHOO went with quality materials that feel durable and are built to last.

On the other side of things, I need to mention that the armrests feel a bit on the hard side, and after sitting for long hours, they can get uncomfortable. They’re functional and do what they’re supposed to, but I honestly wish they had a little more cushioning for better comfort.

Conclusion

The SIHOO M57 Pro Ergonomic Chair is a good gaming chair when you have around P12,500 pesos in your budget and wants a good ergonomic chair that really works and gives you comfort.

After a grueling more than seven months of usage, it is still doing its job. Though as a piece of advice, not just for this chair but for all ergonomic chairs, you need to clean them once in a while, or you will need to put a lot of effort into cleaning them after a few months, as stains and other debris will be hard to come off from the mesh materials, and dust will easily accumulate around the plastic body of the chair.

With that the SIHOO M57 Pro receives the Recommended Award.

PROS:

  • Breathable Mesh
  • Pricing
  • Gradual reclination of the backrest.

CONS:

  • Hard Cushioning of the Armrest
