Classic, yet new. Familiar, yet reimagined. Bambu Lab once again pushes the boundaries of desktop 3D printing with the introduction of the Bambu Lab P2S, the bold evolution of its well-loved predecessor, the P1S.

Set to be officially announced on October 14, 2025, the P2S is shaping up to be a refined successor rather than a radical redesign. Building upon the proven foundation that made the P1S a community favorite, the P2S carries the same design DNA but upgrades it in all the right areas, including faster calibration, smarter print optimization, and subtle but meaningful hardware improvements.

As of now, Bambu Lab has not confirmed whether the P2S will feature a larger build volume or maintain the same footprint as the P1S. However, based on the teaser caption “Classic, #Refreshed”, it seems likely that the P2S will retain the same form factor while focusing on performance and usability upgrades.

It is not a revolution, but an evolution, one that proves sometimes the best way forward is to refine what already works.
