At the ASRock booth during Computex, I found an intriguing motherboard which, despite not being a BTF model, utilizes CAMM2 memory. This motherboard is a variant of the forthcoming Arrow Lake series, specifically the ASRock Taichi OCF CAMM2.

The ASRock Taichi OCF (OC Formula) CAMM2 is a new addition to the ASRock Taichi lineup, designed specifically for overclockers. This model has a 27-stage phase power delivery. The CAMM2 variant is particularly noteworthy for incorporating an integrated Kingston Fury Impact DDR5 CAMM2 32GB module instead of the traditional DIMM slot. This redesign aims to demonstrate the potential of CAMM2 memory in desktop systems, but the drawback is that you can’t upgrade the memory furthermore.

The Taichi OCF CAMM2 also keeps the “OC Formula” emblem and minimal yellow writing, which are hallmarks of the Taichi series. This model will work comparable with other high-end models, like the Taichi Aqua, with a 33-phase power delivery and is anticipated to provide outstanding performance for premium consumers and overclocking enthusiasts.
