On August 16, PLDT Home will confer the title “Hiyas ng PLDT” upon Jane Rose Miones, representing the Bagobo-Plata tribe at the Hiyas ng Kadayawan. This unique beauty pageant seeks to discover the modern embodiment of a Davaoeña role model among young, accomplished women representing the 11 communities of Davao while showcasing their respective tribes. For instance, the talent contest features captivating performances such as singkil, a vibrant ethnic dance originating from the Maranao people.

On August 17, Chelsea Manalo, Miss Universe Philippines 2024, will attend a media luncheon to showcase PLDT Home’s thrilling Kadayawan Festival initiatives.
