Kingston Technology proudly announces the imminent launch of the Kingston FURY Renegade DDR5 CUDIMMs, designed to be fully compatible with Intel’s pioneering 800-series chipset (formerly codenamed Arrow Lake). This chipset marks a significant evolution in memory technology as it introduces Clock Drivers on CUDIMMs (Clocked Unbuffered Dual Inline Memory Modules). At an impressive 6400MT/s DDR5, JEDEC mandates that every UDIMM and SODIMM must now include a Client Clock Driver (CKD), which effectively buffers and redrives the clock signal from the processor, therefore enhancing signal integrity throughout the module. To differentiate these cutting-edge modules from traditional DDR5 UDIMMs and SODIMMs, JEDEC has officially designated them as CUDIMMs and CSODIMMs, respectively.
The Kingston FURY Renegade RGB and non-RGB CUDIMM modules set the standard with an exceptional starting overclocked speed of 8400MT/s, available in both 24GB single modules and 48GB dual channel kits. With CUDIMMs and UDIMMs utilizing the same 288-pin connector, Kingston FURY UDIMMs featuring XMP and EXPO profiles are fully compatible with Intel 800-series motherboards. It is, however, essential to confirm compatibility through the motherboard manufacturer’s QVL (Qualified Vendor List) or by consulting the Kingston Configurator for detailed information on supported speeds and capacities.
