Intel Arc B580 and B570 GPUs offer modern gaming features with best-in-class value for performance.

Intel proudly unveils the groundbreaking Intel® Arc™ B-Series graphics cards (code-named Battlemage). The Intel® Arc™ B580 and B570 GPUs set the standard for exceptional value and performance, making them perfect for gamers on a budget. These powerful cards deliver cutting-edge gaming features and are expertly designed to enhance AI workloads. Equipped with Intel Xe Matrix Extensions (XMX) AI engines, they power the advanced XeSS 2 technology suite, which significantly boosts performance, visual fluidity, and responsiveness.

“The new Intel Arc B-Series GPUs are the perfect upgrades for gamers. They deliver leading performance-per-dollar and great 1440p gaming experiences with XeSS 2, second-generation ray tracing engines and XMX AI engines. We’re delighted to be joined by more partners than ever so that gamers have more choice in finding their perfect design.”–Vivian Lien, Intel vice president and general manager of Client Graphics

About the New Architecture: The Intel Arc B-Series GPUs leverage Intel’s cutting-edge Xe2 architecture, designed to deliver outstanding efficiency and superior performance per core while reducing software overhead. The second-generation Xe-cores provide robust compute capabilities essential for modern workloads and feature high-performance XMX AI engines. These new Xe-cores, paired with advanced ray tracing units, significantly enhance mesh shading performance and key graphics functions, boosting performance efficiency with the latest game engines.

About XeSS 2: XeSS 2 elevates gaming technology with three groundbreaking innovations: XeSS Super Resolution, XeSS Frame Generation, and Xe Low Latency. XeSS Super Resolution remains the cornerstone of the first-generation XeSS, delivering AI-driven upscaling that has supported over 150 games for more than two years. The newly integrated AI-powered XeSS Frame Generation introduces interpolated frames leveraging optical flow and motion vector reprojection, resulting in an incredibly smooth gaming experience. Meanwhile, Xe Low Latency seamlessly integrates with game engines to ensure lightning-fast responsiveness to gamers’ inputs. When all three technologies are activated, XeSS 2 can increase frames-per-second output by up to 3.9x, delivering unparalleled performance in demanding AAA titles.

Why It Matters: Intel’s graphics intellectual property (IP) empowers contemporary graphics experiences across a diverse array of devices, including graphics cards, laptops, and handhelds. The Intel Arc B-series GPUs benefit from a robust software ecosystem, strengthened by continuous investment in Intel’s graphics portfolio.

In comparison to the previous generation, the Intel Arc B-Series GPUs deliver a remarkable 70% improvement in performance per Xe-core and 50% increase in performance per watt. The B580 GPU, when benchmarked against the Intel Arc A750 GPU, is on average 24% faster at 1440p, with some titles peaking at 78% faster performance. Against competitors, the Intel Arc B580 GPU excels, offering up to 32% better performance-per-dollar.

Featuring 12GB of dedicated GPU memory for the Intel Arc B580 and 10GB for the Intel Arc B570, gamers can expect an exceptional high-performance gaming experience at 1440p ultra quality settings, further enhanced by AI-driven XeSS 2 technologies.

The new Intel Graphics Software provides comprehensive access to display settings, including color calibration and scaling modes, as well as variable refresh rate (VRR) support. Users can fine-tune 3D graphics settings with a frames-per-second limiter and a driver-level low-latency mode. Performance controls encompass both basic and advanced overclocking, paired with metrics captured through the widely adopted open-source PresentMon, now supporting frame generation and latency measurements.

The Details: Features of the Intel Arc B-Series GPUs include:
