NVIDIA is making waves with its announcement of Project G-Assist, a mighty AI aide for GeForce RTX desktop gamers. It is like having your own smart sidekick that you can command to change game settings, track performance, and control RGB lighting — all with a voice or text command. You can call it up via the NVIDIA app, so it feels like having a personal gaming mentor on your desktop.

G-Assist can also optimize your GPU settings and offer live checks and recommendations to fix any issues. Do you want to stress your GPU? G-Assist could offer you overclocking suggestions that other people won’t. G-Assist’s abilities will also be expanded by bringing in developers and taking advantage of NVIDIA’s GitHub tools to implement custom plugins to offer more functionality to control devices and interface with other software.

New DLSS Controls and Streamlined Features

NVIDIA has introduced new features to its gamer app on top of Project G-Assist. The new app version features improved DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) settings, which enable you to manage image quality and performance more conveniently. Game Ready or Studio Driver 572.83 WHQL or higher users can now switch DLSS settings or modify resolution scaling from 33% to 100%. Display Scaling and Color settings have also been moved to the NVIDIA app from the previous Control Panel and are easier to access.
