Walking through the SAMA booth at Computex 2026, the V62 didn’t try to stand out by doing anything drastically different. Instead, it leans into what’s already working in today’s chassis market and refines it.

The V62 is a mid-tower built around the now-familiar panoramic layout, paired with support for rear-connect (BTF) ATX and Micro-ATX motherboards. That means most of the cable routing is pushed behind the motherboard tray, keeping the main chamber clean without needing extra effort from the builder.

Visually, the case uses a dual-curve tempered glass front panel, giving it a softer, rounded look compared to the sharper panoramic designs that have flooded the market recently. It’s a small shift in design language, but noticeable when placed side by side with more angular cases.

SAMA also added an integrated ARGB ambient lighting strip, which runs as an accent rather than relying purely on RGB fans. It’s a more subtle approach, and it works with the overall cleaner presentation the case is going for.

One detail that stood out during the demo was the front I/O placement. Instead of sitting on the top panel, the ports are positioned lower on the chassis, closer to the front-bottom area. For desk setups, this actually makes more sense, especially when top-mounted I/O can end up awkward or out of reach.

From what was shown on the floor, the V62 doesn’t try to reinvent anything. It follows the same direction most modern cases are heading, panoramic glass, cleaner cable management, and support for newer motherboard layouts. It just packages those features into a single, straightforward design without overcomplicating it.

The V62 is part of SAMA’s Computex 2026 lineup, built around rear-connect compatibility, curved glass panels, integrated lighting, and a clean showcase layout.
