DeepCool is back with a new flagship air cooler, and this time it’s clearly pushing both performance and presentation. I got to check out the ASSASSIN V VISION up close during Computex 2026, and it’s more than just a refresh of the ASSASSIN IV.

The biggest change here is the new second-generation vapor chamber. It measures 38 x 34mm, with a 1.2mm thick copper base and a copper sintered sheet design. In person, the base looks noticeably more refined, and this redesign isn’t just for show. It improves structural strength, surface flatness, and overall heat distribution.

DeepCool is also sticking with a heavy-duty cooling setup, packing in 8 copper heat pipes. This is still very much a high-end air cooler built for serious CPUs, not something meant for midrange builds.

One of the standout features is the integrated 4.8-inch IPS LCD. It runs at 854 x 480 resolution, and it’s large enough to actually be useful, not just decorative. Whether you want system stats or custom visuals, it’s clearly designed to be part of your build’s identity.

What’s interesting is that DeepCool managed to shrink the cooler slightly. Total volume is down by 8%, and weight is reduced by 5%, but they’re claiming a 6% performance improvement over the previous ASSASSIN IV. That’s the kind of gain that actually matters, especially for users pushing high-end CPUs.

Another practical upgrade is the wireless fan setup. Instead of dealing with running the cables between the heat pipes when installed, the fans connect through contact pins. It’s a small change, but seeing it in person, it definitely helps clean up the overall installation and cable management.

From what I saw on the floor, the ASSASSIN V VISION feels like a more refined, more modern take on DeepCool’s flagship air cooler. It’s not trying to reinvent the category, but it tightens up the design, improves performance, and adds features that actually make sense for today’s builds.
