I got to check out FSP’s latest power solution during Computex 2026, and it’s clearly not aimed at your typical gaming PC.

The highlight is the FSP Cannon 3300W, which FSP is positioning as the world’s first ATX workstation PSU at this wattage with an 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency rating. At 3300W, this isn’t overkill. It is purpose built for AI workstations and multi-GPU environments where power demand can easily go beyond what standard enthusiast PSUs can handle.

One of the key things here is the use of PFC GaN technology, which improves power conversion efficiency while keeping thermals more manageable. FSP also went with a 3-transformer design, which helps reduce heat output and should contribute to better long-term reliability. That actually matters at this level of power draw.

For connectivity, the unit comes with six PCIe 12V 2×6 connectors, meaning it is ready for modern multi-GPU setups without adapters or workarounds. This alone makes it clear that FSP is targeting AI workloads, rendering farms, and enterprise level desktop systems, not just high-end gaming rigs.

If 3300W is too extreme, FSP is also offering a 2500W variant. It still sits well above typical consumer needs but gives system builders a slightly more practical option for heavy workloads.

What stood out more than just the PSU itself is FSP’s direction. They are not just selling components anymore. They are pushing a fully integrated AI workstation approach, combining chassis and power solutions into a more complete ecosystem. That makes sense, especially for enterprise users who do not want to deal with compatibility issues when building high power, multi GPU systems.

Bottom line, this is not a product for everyone, and FSP is not pretending it is. The Cannon series is built for a very specific use case, and if you are working with AI or serious compute workloads, this is the kind of hardware that actually fits the job.
