While most anniversary products tend to lean heavily into aesthetics, the ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 feels like ASUS tried to balance both collector appeal and competitive gaming performance in a single package.

ASUS mentioned that the design was developed alongside professional esports players, and honestly, it shows. It doesn’t feel like an experimental anniversary piece. It still feels like a mouse built for actual gaming.

The Edition 20 treatment mainly comes through the visual presentation. ASUS went with a black and gold theme that matches the rest of the ROG 20th Anniversary lineup shown during the event. In person, it looks more refined than flashy. It definitely stands out compared to standard gaming mice, but it doesn’t cross into the territory of looking overly decorative.

Under the hood, the mouse packs ASUS’ latest ROG AimPoint Pro 65K optical sensor along with ROG Optical Micro Switches rated for up to 100 million clicks. ASUS is also pushing its SpeedNova 8K wireless technology here, targeting ultra-low latency performance for competitive players.

One feature that was interesting to see was the use of Corning Gorilla Glass mouse feet. Most gaming mice still rely on traditional PTFE feet, so seeing ASUS experiment with glass skates as part of the package is something different. Whether gamers prefer it over PTFE will probably come down to personal preference and mousepad choice, but it certainly adds to the premium nature of the product.

Like many of the Edition 20 products revealed at Computex 2026, the Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 feels aimed at two audiences. The first is competitive gamers looking for a lightweight, high-performance wireless mouse. The second is ROG collectors who want something that celebrates the brand’s 20-year milestone with a more exclusive design.

After seeing it firsthand, I think the biggest strength of the Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 is that ASUS didn’t sacrifice usability just to create an anniversary product. Underneath the commemorative finish is still a serious esports mouse, which makes it more than just a display piece.

For ROG fans building a complete Edition 20 setup alongside the Azoth Extreme Edition 20 keyboard and other anniversary hardware showcased during Computex, this mouse fits naturally into the ecosystem without feeling like a gimmick. ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 Official Page
